Jimmy Ogunshakin

PARTNER

Formerly a solicitor sole practitioner, trading as Mayflower Solicitors, Jimmy launched the firm in July 2008. Less than two years later, the firm has seen tremendous growth and incorporated on 1 April 2010 re-emerging as Mayflower (DCB) LLP. Jimmy is the Chief Executive Officer of the LLP.

Having graduated with an LLB (with Honours) Degree in 1992, He was admitted as a student barrister of the Bar of England & Wales (and of Lincoln’s Inn the same year). He qualified as a Solicitor in 2002.

Katie Gowans

TRAINEE SOLICITOR

Katie joined Mayflower Solicitors as a Paralegal in April 2009, following three years as a paralegal with Irwin Mitchell.

Katie brings a wealth of experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, specialising in group litigation.

Since joining the firm, Katie has continued to build on her legal skills by working on employment, company/commercial and property law cases. Her clients include businesses of all sizes, trade unions and individuals. Katie’s recent workload has

Amiee O’Toole

PARALEGAL

Amiee joined the firm as a Paralegal on 1 December 2010 after undertaking a short summer placement. Prior to this, she graduated from Liverpool John Moore University in 2009. She went on to achieve a Distinction on her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Birmingham.

Since joining the firm, Amiee has gained an insight into various areas of commercial law and practice; assisting the Partner and other colleagues across the firm with a number of projects and cases ranging from
